La Grande Année Champagne from the Bollinger House has a tinged color with golden highlights, testimony to the maturity of the wine, but also to the Bollinger winemaking methods. A fruity, precise and finely iodized nose, with aromas of cherry and lemon mingling with quince and bergamot. Secondly, notes of hazelnut, almond, mirabelle plum and peach complete this aromatic palette. The mouth opens with a fine, intense effervescence, followed by a beautiful vinosity and balanced by a delicate acidity. Its very fine texture and saline finish give it great persistence in the mouth accompanied by complex orchard fruit and citrus flavors.
